The death toll is reported to be around 20 people, many from one hotel that collapsed in the center of town. The BBC reports that journalists and rescue officials, working on last month’s earthquake, were staying at that hotel.

Even with 20 dead, the toll is considered relatively low compared to the size of the quake. It could be because many people did not trust the stability of the buildings and remained living outdoors after last month’s quake.
