Today (Tuesday): Folks returning to work from a three-day weekend (lucky you!) are confronted with a starkly different climatic commute with cool temperatures stalled in the upper 40s to low 50s this morning and frequent showers. We clear out from west to east in the 10 a.m. to noon timeframe, but afternoon temperatures hold steady (high temperatures in the mid-50s are likely set at midnight earlier today). Total cold front precipitation should range from .25” to .5” with locally higher amounts. Winds are mainly from the north and northwest at 10-15 mph with highs gusts. Confidence: Medium
Tonight: Mostly clear with colder lows ranging from the upper 20s in the outer suburbs to the middle 30s in the city. Any leftover puddles in the outer ‘burbs could freeze. Confidence: High

Tomorrow (Wednesday): We should see sunshine, but temperatures are not interested in going very far to the upside. Look for highs to only manage the mid-to-upper 40s with light winds from the north and northeast. Confidence: High
Tomorrow night: Mostly clear and chilly with lows ranging mainly through the 30s with freezing temperature risks mainly in outlying spots. Confidence: High
Thursday and Friday are a pair of similar weather days with partly to mostly sunny skies as highs mainly manage the low-to-mid 50s. Lows Thursday and Friday night are mainly in the 30s yet again under partly cloudy skies. Confidence: Medium
The weekend is getting more complicated on the latest guidance. Saturday looks OK for now with cool highs in the low-to-mid 50s and potentially increasing cloud cover, especially in the afternoon into Saturday night. More clouds Saturday night allow lows to be a bit milder with mid-upper 30s in the outer suburbs to low-mid 40s in the city. Sunday looks more cloudy with increasing chances for showers as a coastal disturbance emerges from our south and east. Confidence is still low on this, so check back for updates. Confidence: Low
