Today (Monday): Very mild when you get up and head out, with temps near 60. A line of showers, with possible embedded thunderstorms, likely approaches western areas by mid-morning and blows through eastern areas by early evening. Any thunderstorms - especially east of I-95 - may contain gusty winds. Average rainfall totals should be around 0.5”. Highs range from 65-70. Confidence: Medium-High

Tonight: Showers may linger in eastern areas through 8 p.m. or so. Skies gradually clear, with overnight lows ranging from the mid-40s (in the cooler suburbs) to near 50 downtown. Confidence: Medium-High

Tomorrow (Tuesday): High pressure builds in from the southwest - introducing a stretch of sunny days. Temperatures are seasonably mild, with highs in the mid-to-upper 60s. There’s a moderate breeze from the northwest at 10-15 mph. Confidence: High

Tomorrow night: Clear, cool, and calm. Lows range from the mid-to-upper 30s in the cooler suburbs (with perhaps some scattered frost), to the mid-40s downtown. Confidence: Medium-High

A LOOK AHEAD

Wednesday and Thursday are both shaping up to be beautiful, with mostly sunny skies. Wednesday’s highs are near 70 and Thursday’s 70-75 with perhaps some increase in high clouds late. Wednesday night is clear, with lows in the 40s to near 50. Becoming mostly cloudy Thursday night with a slight chance of showers and lows in the 50s. . Confidence: Medium

A cold front rolls through the area Friday (although the timing is somewhat subject to change) bringing a chance of showers. Highs are likely in the 60s. Slow clearing at night, with lows in the upper 40s to mid-50s (suburbs-city). Confidence: Low-Medium

Assuming Friday's front clears, Saturday should be mostly sunny and dry if perhaps a little a breezy, with highs well into the 60s. Mostly clear Saturday night, with lows in the 40s. Sunday looks great, with highs near 70 under mostly sunny skies. Confidence: Medium
