Today: Partly sunny. 30-40% chance of showers. Near 80 to mid-80s. | Tonight: 50% chance of showers; t’storm? 60s. | Tomorrow: Partly sunny. 30% chance of showers. Mid-70s to near 80. | A Look Ahead | Get Express Forecast by E-mail

Today (Wednesday): Not as nice as the recent masterpieces we’ve seen from Mother Nature, but could be worse. A bit of upper-level energy nearby in the morning and a cold front approaching from the northwest later in the day means an overall 30-40% chance of showers. Highs should reach near 80 to the mid-80s under partly sunny skies with just a hint of humidity. Confidence: Medium

Tonight: As the cold front gets closer, shower chances increase to around 50% during the evening and overnight. Could be a couple thunderstorms mixed in as well. Mostly cloudy skies should help keep most everyone up in the 60s for lows. Confidence: Medium

Tomorrow (Thursday): With the cold front stalled nearby, parts of the area could see a shower or two during the day. The overall chance of getting wet at any given location is about 30%. Skies remain partly sunny as highs top out in the mid-70s to near 80. Confidence: Medium

Tomorrow night: A ripple of energy riding along the front raises shower chances to 60% as we head through the evening and overnight. Again we could see a t’storm around as well. Cloudy skies should prevail with lows in the upper 50s to mid-60s. Confidence: Low-Medium

The story stays much the same on Friday. With the front still around, we hang on to a 30-40% chance of showers with partly sunny skies and highs in the 70s to near 80. Shower chances continue Friday night with lows back to the upper 50s to mid-60s. Confidence: Low-Medium

The weekend forecast remains rather muddled. We’ve got the front, and thus shower chances, probably sticking around through Saturday, maybe/maybe not into Sunday. Low pressure might also develop along the front, which could mean the potential for steadier rain later in the weekend if the front stays close. Highs both days look to be in the 70s. Confidence: Low
