Today (Wednesday): Plenty of clouds again today but some windows of sun as well. So on the whole it’s partly sunny and still on the cool side with highs heading for the low-to-mid 70s. Could see an occasional light shower just about anywhere at any point during the day, with the overall chance or rain at any given location about 40%. Confidence: Medium

Tomorrow (Thursday): Winds start to come from a warmer west or southwest direction, and that should boost highs to the upper 70s to near 80 under partly sunny skies. We still find ourselves under the influence of low pressure at the upper levels of the atmosphere, which means a 30-40% chance of mainly afternoon/evening showers and thunderstorms . Confidence: Medium

Tomorrow night: We’ll keep a chance of a shower or t’storm in the forecast through mid-evening, then just partly cloudy and a touch warmer than tonight with lows in the upper 50s to low 60s. Confidence: Medium

High pressure starts to build in Friday, putting an end to our daily shower chances and sending temperatures onward and upward. Partly to mostly sunny skies help highs to near 80 to the low 80s while humidity remains fairly low. Continued pleasant Friday evening as temperatures drift back toward overnight lows from near 60 to the low 60s. Confidence: Medium-High

All signs point to a warm and rain-free weekend. Partly to mostly sunny skies should prevail as highs climb to the mid-80s to near 90, with Saturday night lows in the 60s. Humidity gradually increases, but should remain in the tolerable range. Confidence: Medium-High
