Today (Thursday): Plenty of sun greets us and no more than a few stray clouds sneak in from the southeast in the afternoon. Humidity remains on hold and breezes are light. Highs respectfully hold up mainly in the lower 80s. Confidence: High

Tonight: This evening is a stargazer’s delight with no clouds and no moon to get in the way. Readings are in the 70s for the dinner crowd. Lows bottom out in the mid-50s to low 60s. Confidence: High

Tomorrow (Friday): This is still likely to be a nice day but it requires good timing. Skies should start out mostly sunny and clouds should not begin to clutter up the sky until mid-afternoon. This should hold highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s. Confidence: Medium-High

Tomorrow night: I should know better than to try to time a front after last week but I can’t help myself. The evening should be cloudy and in the 70s. With any luck (and we seem to have a lot of it this week) light showers should zip through the area around midnight (30-40% chance) and be long gone by dawn. Low should be in the upper 50s to lower 60s. Confidence: Medium

Saturday is back to perfection with clearing skies early and sunshine to fill up the rest of the day. A light wind from the north keeps humidity low and highs in the mid-to-upper 70s. The evening is still mild but it gets almost chilly overnight with lows in the 50s. Confidence: Medium-High

Sunday is more delightful stuff with calm winds, blue skies, dry air and highs in the mid-70s to near 80. The evening readings are still comfortable 60s. Lows end up in the mid-50s to lower 60s. Confidence: Medium-High

Monday is likely to start out with at least partial sunshine but clouds are likely to increase with vigor by midday and showers could begin to spring up in the afternoon (60% chance) continuing through the night as a surge of moisture from the south finally bullies its way into the area. Highs should hold in the mid-70s. Confidence: Medium
