We’re getting quite a treat this holiday weekend, unless you’re looking for early season snow or something! I’m sure all of you putting up Christmas decorations and finishing up any outdoor maintenance before winter sets in are enjoying it at least. Another stellar one with temperatures well into the 60s is ahead today, and while tomorrow might not be quite as brilliant, it’s still pretty darn good for this time of year.

Today (Saturday): Remember yesterday? Today’s a lot like it. Plan on plenty of sunshine and temperatures again well into the 60s – probably mid-60s to near 70 in fact. There could be a few clouds at times but it’s the exception rather than the rule. Winds are light and not really any issue. Enjoy! Confidence: High

Tonight: More sweetness! Partly cloudy skies and light winds combine for a pretty pleasant evening and overnight. Lows eventually dip to the upper 30s in the coldest spots to the mid-40s downtown. Confidence: Medium-High

Tomorrow (Sunday): Like most weekends of late, Sunday is the lesser of the two days, but it’s hard to look too poorly on this one. Partly cloudy skies early should become cloudier as the day progresses. Highs range from near 60 to the mid-60s depending on how quick we cloud over. Confidence: Medium

Tomorrow night: Clouds are increasingly thick and any breaks are few and far between. I think much of not all of the night stays dry, but can’t really rule out a spotty shower after midnight either. Let’s call it a 20% chance of rain. Lows range from the lower 40s to the upper 40s. Confidence: Medium

On Monday, mostly cloudy skies stick around as does a chance of showers — though not a huge one. A big storm to the west is slow to move east, initially at least, so much of the day is just dreary. Highs may be subdued (50s) compared to recently if a cold front passes far enough through, but I’m not sold on that. I’m going to go with near 60 for now as previous forecasts were a good bit cooler and there’s a good bit of uncertainty to feature specifics, but it could even end up well into the 60s again. The chance of rain is about 30%. Confidence: Low-Medium

The storm to the west makes its closest pass on Tuesday and that means rain chances go up — particularly as the day wears on. The warm surge probably continues long enough to get temperatures up near or above 60 again, though eventually the cold front and a 70% chance of showers (maybe storms?) along it should send temperatures backward by late in the day. The much cooler stuff holds off till mid-week, though by late evening it might feel rather different around here. Confidence: Low-Medium
