After a stormy Saturday, even after several nice hours Sunday afternoon, many could use the chance to catch their breath, clean-up, and not worry about the weather. The upcoming week gives us exactly that opportunity with a string of delightful days. Substantial rain chances don’t re-appear until Sunday.

Today (Monday): This day may very well meet “nice day” criteria, but I’m going to skimp due to the possibility of considerable cloud cover at times and even an outside (10-20%) chance of a shower (mainly towards the mountains). We’ll see the sun at times - perhaps in healthy quantities. Highs near a delightful 80 degrees, with a breeze from north at 5-10 mph. Confidence: Medium-High

Tonight: We clear out and cool off quite nicely. Some of the outlying suburbs dip down as far as 50, with low 60s downtown. Confidence: High

Tomorrow (Tuesday): After a cool, fall-like start (jackets in a few spots?), abundant sunshine lifts the mercury back up into the low-to-mid 80s reminding us it’s still summer. But no need to worry about humidity with low dew points 50-55. Confidence: Medium-High

Tomorrow night: Clear and pleasant. No A/C needed for a second straight night with lows 52 to 62 suburbs to city. Confidence: Medium-High

Wednesday through Saturday all look pretty good with partly to mostly sunny skies, pleasantly warm days and refreshing nights. The one caveat is that flow from the east could turn Thursday and Friday a little bit more cloudy and cooler than reflected here. Highs are generally 80-85, with lows 55-65 (suburbs - city). Confidence: Medium

On Sunday, flow becomes from the south, increasing temperatures and humidity. Late in the day, a cold front may approach, bringing a chance (40-50%) of showers and storms. Highs are probably in the mid-80s or so. Confidence: Low-Medium
