You know you’re living large when the “worst” day of the week is one like today. Clouds and a touch of humidity stick around through tonight before we clear out late setting up an exceptionally nice mid-September weekend. Lots of sun, low humidity, comfortable temps. We know the drill now and I, for one, am loving it.

Through Tonight: A cold front is going to sweep through the region tonight, but it’s moisture-starved. There’s just an outside chance of a light shower (less than 20 percent) around midnight. Clouds are plentiful through the pre-dawn hours. Lows are pleasant enough, ranging from the upper 50s to low 60s.

The weekend: It’s hard to imagine a better forecast. High pressure to the north delivers partly to mostly sunny skies both days along with a light breeze (10-15 mph Saturday, 5-10 mph Sunday - from the north, mostly). Highs both days range from 75-80, with low humidity. Saturday night is mostly clear, with lows in the upper 40s in the cooler suburbs to the upper 50s downtown.

Pollen: Weeds and grasses are both LOW-MODERATE.
