PM Update: Clouds/fog late tonight, some Wednesday afternoon sunshine, warm

Whereas incredibly warm weather is the broken record to our northwest, an easterly flow of air (off the ocean) has moderated temperatures in our region the last several days. Yet it’s still unseasonably mild despite the bouts of fog and clouds, and the cooling breeze. That’s the case again Wednesday.

Through Tonight: Skies are partly cloudy through much of the evening. Late at night, patchy fog forms, which may be locally quite dense. Overnight lows are mild, ranging from 55-60 (suburbs-city).

Wednesday: Parts of the region may be socked in with low clouds and fog early, but sunshine eventually becomes more prevalent. Afternoon highs reach the mid-70s. Winds are very light from the east.
