Despite a cool breeze from the northwest, temperatures today still managed to overachieve, reaching around 50. Of course, 50 is now cooler than normal (our average high is 53). Seasonably chilly weather continues Friday, with another day similar to today.

Through Tonight: Winter jackets are still in order. Skies are clear to partly cloudy, with lows in the mid-to-upper 20s in the cooler suburbs to the low 30s downtown. We’ll have a bit of a wind chill, with breezes from the northwest at 10-15 mph.

Friday: A blustery day, with winds gusting over 30 mph at times. The March sun manages to boost temperatures to the upper 40s to near 50, but it doesn’t feel that warm!

Time out for Tucker: Fox-5 morning meteorologist Tucker Barnes, like everyone else, got the forecast wrong for Snowquester. As punishment, his colleagues placed him in time-out to begin his weathercast this morning.
