Mid-80s and fairly low humidity in June? I’ll take it. Other than a few popcorn clouds due to remnant cold air aloft, this was about as nice of an early-summer day as one can get around here. I wish I could say the weekend will be exactly the same, but we’re staring down a run at 90-degree readings and increasing humidity levels. Still, it’s June, and it could be worse.

Through Tonight: If you like being outside, there’s no reason not to take advantage of this evening. A remote risk of a passing shower is worth mentioning, but not terribly likely anywhere. Temperatures dipping into the 70s near and post-sunset slowly drop to lows in the upper 50s in some cooler suburbs to the low or mid-60s downtown. A slight breeze only adds to the overall atmosphere of pleasant times.

For the weekend, we’ve got increasing temperatures and humidity, along with a lot more sunshine. Saturday might be the pick if you don’t like heat, as temperatures should rise to the upper 80s or near 90. Clouds may pass from time to time, under otherwise mostly sunny skies. After a start in the 60s on Sunday, we’ll notice that humidity more readily throughout. Sun rules again, with probably fewer clouds than Saturday as highs reach near 90 and into the low 90s.
