Not since Saturday have we experienced appreciable sunshine due to northeasterly flow driven by an ocean storm. That storms moves far enough away for sunshine to make its comeback Wednesday as temperatures slowly trend upwards as we approach Thanksgiving and Black Friday.

Through Tonight: Skies remain mostly cloudy through the evening, but should gradually become partly cloudy after midnight. Lows range from the low-to-mid 30s in the cooler suburbs to near 40 downtown. Winds are light.

Wednesday: Partly sunny skies in the morning should become mostly sunny in the afternoon. Highs reach the mid-to-upper 50s...held in check mainly by a light breeze from the north at 5-10 mph.
