Brooks Laich scored his 100th career goal last night as part of the Capitals’ 4-2 win over the Canadiens. He recorded his first ever NHL goal in the Bell Centre back on Nov. 19, 2005 and his first NHL hat trick came on Feb. 10, 2010 — you guessed it — also in Montreal.
The Capitals forward just laughed when the series of milestones were brought up.
“I really like to play in this building,” he said. “Weird things happen, I guess, here for me.”
