Capitals center Jason Arnott won't play in any of the first three games on the team’s six-game road trip, Coach Bruce Boudreau said today. Arnott is formally listed as week-to-week with an undisclosed injury.

A few other quick notes from this morning’s skate at Centre Bell in Montreal:

--Goaltender Braden Holtby, who has won four straight, will get the start again tonight against the Canadiens.

--Brooks Laich just said Jay Beagle will be back in the lineup tonight, so it would appear that Nicklas Backstrom (fractured thumb) won't be returning just yet. Boudreau, however, would not rule Backstrom out tonight.

--The forward lines on the ice right now look like this: 8-21-28, 18-90-22, 25-83-16, 26-15-10.

More to come soon.
