Lastest lines: Aucoin skating with Halpern and Ward

The Capitals are on the ice for a normal, fully-attended practice Friday at KCI before departing for Montreal later this afternoon.

Everyone — with the exceptions of Nicklas Backstrom (concussion) and Mike Green (sports hernia) — is taking part in what has been a rather rigorous practice so far.

Green did skate for 15 to 20 minutes prior to the main practice getting underway, though. It marked his fourth consecutive day on the ice and second straight workout in full pads.

Newly recalled center Keith Aucoin is skating on the left wing of a unit with Jeff Halpern and Joel Ward. Meanitme, Joel Rechlicz and Jay Beagle are the only two forwards not skating in a complete line and are wearing powder blue jerseys.

Whether Rechlicz, who said yesterday he hopes to introduce himself to Rene Bourque, and Beagle will be the healthy scratches against the Canadiens is uncertain.

Here are what the lines look like for practice:
Ovechkin-Johansson-Semin
Hendricks-Laich-Brouwer
Chimera-Perreault-Knuble
Aucoin-Halpern-Ward
Rechlicz-Beagle
