Update, 10:52 a.m.: Neuvirth left after about 20 minutes. He's been replaced by Capitals media relations director Sergey Kocharov.

Update, 10:38 a.m.: Michal Neuvirth is on the ice for practice at Kettler Capitals Iceplex, along with Tomas Vokoun. More to come in a bit.

Original post: The Capitals sent backup goalie Dany Sabourin back to the AHL’s Hershey Bears this morning, a move that could indicate Michal Neuvirth is healthy enough to return in time for tomorrow’s game against Florida.

Washington recalled Sabourin on Saturday because Neuvirth, who has been out since Wednesday with an undisclosed lower-body injury, wasn’t healthy enough to back up Tomas Vokoun.

Neuvirth was seen limping Saturday night in Verizon Center.
