Capitals recall Dany Sabourin from Hershey

Washington recalled Dany Sabourin Tuesday, which likely means that Michal Neuvirth’s bruised foot is still too painful for him to serve as backup tonight against the Panthers.

Neuvirth has not participated in a full practice with the rest of the team during their last six workouts, since he took a shot off his right foot on the day of Washington’s game against Tampa Bay.

Neuvirth and Jay Beagle are the only players not on the ice for the Capitals’ morning skate at KCI. Beagle has not skated since he was knocked out in a fight by Arron Asham in Pittsburgh on Oct. 13.

--From the lines the Capitals used during the morning skate, it appears as though the only lineup change from Saturday night against Ottawa is that Mathieu Perreault will be in the mix on the fourth line and D.J. King will be out. King is taking part in extra work with the assistant coaches, while Perreault skated between Matt Hendricks and Jeff Halpern.
