Roman Hamrlik appeared to participate fully in practice today and said he’s inching toward a return to the lineup. The defenseman has missed the past three games with what the team has described as a lower-body injury.

“Every day I feel a little bit better,” the 37-year-old said. “Just trying to push it every day a little bit more and go from there. It’s nothing serious. I’m getting close and see how I feel tomorrow.”

Hamrlik wouldn’t specify the location or nature of the injury, but he did say it’s not the groin tightness that plagued him in training camp.

In 23 games this season, Hamrlik has one goal, no assists and a team-worst plus-minus rating of minus-10.
