Leonsis wants Capitals to do whatever it takes this year, even if it means sitting stars like Alex Ovechkin

Ted Leonsis really wants to win this year. And if it looks like that’s not going to happen, the Capitals owner won’t stand in the way of Coach Bruce Boudreau making the team’s top stars accountable.

“All of that will start with Ovechkin,” Leonsis told The Post’s Mike Wise. “Because if Bruce sits him, takes away his minutes, puts him in different places on the power play — and Alex does it — then everyone else on the team has to do it.”
