Michal Neuvirth on the ice for Capitals’ practice

Michal Neuvirth is out on the ice for practice with the rest of his teammates Friday morning at KCI after missing four consecutive games with a bruised right foot.

Neuvirth went out for practice with the full Capitals group and is rotating in drills as there are three goaltenders available for this practice between him, Tomas Vokoun and Dany Sabourin.

--Winger Jay Beagle is the only player not present for the session and has now missed seven consecutive days of practice since he was knocked out by Pittsburgh’s Arron Asham.

--It looks like the Capitals will be working on special teams a bit today. Based on the groups assigned by jersey color, Alex Ovechkin, Nicklas Backstrom, Brooks Laich, Troy Brouwer, Mike Green and Dennis Wideman constitute one power play group and the other includes Alexander Semin, Marcus Johansson, Mike Knuble, Mathieu Perreault, Roman Hamrlik and John Carlson.
