Michal Neuvirth to start for Capitals in Game 3

Coach Bruce Boudreau said that he is not contemplating a goaltending change for Game 3 tonight at St. Pete Times Forum. Michal Neuvirth will make his eighth start of the postseason with the Capitals looking to get back in their Eastern Conference semifinal series.

“We’re very comfortable with him and if you look at the goals that they’ve scored, there’s not much he can do about them,” Boudreau said, adding that he will not focus on the second of these back-to-back games until after the first is completed.

As for the rest of the lineup, it appears as though Matt Hendricks will be scratched again. Hendricks remained out on the ice with the other scratches and Hershey callups long after the rest of the team headed to the dressing room.

--Both Mike Knuble and Marco Sturm took their options to not skate this morning but the best educated guess at the lineup based on line rushes is as follows.

Ovechkin-Backstrom-Knuble
Laich-Johansson-Semin
Chimera-Arnott-Fehr
Sturm-Gordon-Bradley
