Labor negotiations between the NHL and NHLPA could prevent the 2012-13 season from starting on time, but just in case it does, the league relased its national television schedule for the campaign.

Please keep in mind that all of this is subject to change and that it certainly will in the event that a lockout stretches past the planned start of the regular season (Oct. 11).

Under the current schedule, NBC will broadcast one Capitals game exclusively — Feb. 3 vs Los Angeles — but has the option to pick up another. Washington will appear at least 10 times on NBC Sports Network, with the option for an 11th contest as well based on the network’s flex scheduling.

NHL Network will broadcast seven non-exclusive Capitals games under this schedule as well.
