A few quick notes from the Saveology Iceplex in Coral Springs, Fla., where the Capitals are still working through a lengthy practice session:

--As Coach Bruce Boudreau said he would, Mike Green has joined the team on the trip but he is watching the workout from the bench and not on the ice. Green has missed nine of 11 games since he was initially struck in the head by a puck on Feb. 6 against Pittsburgh and three consecutive games since suffering another hit to the head by New York’s Derek Stepan on Feb. 25.

--Tom Poti was on the ice at the start of the session but did not stay out for the entire practice.

--Lines this morning are the same as they were against the Blues:

Defensive pairings of Alzner-Carlson, Schultz-Hannan and Erskine-Wideman, with Sloan rotating in at various points in time, are also the same as Thursday’s contest.
