Virginia football to hold open practice Saturday at Fairfax High

The Virginia football team will conclude its first week of spring practice with an open workout Saturday at Fairfax High School. Parking at the school will be free, and attendees are asked to use the two entry points off of Old Lee Highway to access the parking areas.

The workout, which will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. will coincide with a food drive to benefit the Arlington Food Assistance Center. Fans who attend the practice are encouraged to bring a box of cereal or other breakfast items, pasta and/or peanut butter to donate.

Virginia will hold two other open practices outside of Charlottesville this spring. The Cavaliers will host a workout at Christopher Newport University in Newport News on March 30 at 7 p.m., as well as at Sports Backers Stadium in Richmond at 3 p.m. on April 7.

The team’s annual spring game will take place at Scott Stadium on April 14 at 2 p.m.
