Actor Christopher Knight and model Adrianne Curry announced Monday — their fifth wedding anniversary — that they were separating. “After starting a relationship with what seemed to be irreconcilable differences, the couple has reached a period where those differences are no longer appreciated,” their manager said in a statement. “The decision was mutually reached after it became clear to both that some perspective was needed in order to assess their unique union.”

This was the third marriage for Knight, who is best known for his role on “The Brady Bunch,” and the first for Curry.

Anyone who watched the VH1 show “My Fair Brady,” which documented the couple’s rocky relationship for three seasons, is probably not surprised by the split. Curry and Knight, who are 28 and 53-years-old respectively, started their romance on 2005’s “The Surreal Life.”

Looking at Curry’s Twitter feed, it appears that the separation wasn’t completely expected. Before the split was announced, the model tweeted, “May 29th, 2006 I married Christopher Anton Knight. Enjoy your weekend! I certainly am!!!”

One day later, the couple separated: “so yeah, guess you heard about my [expletive] up life......its ok...we arent fighting...no matter what happens, we will know we put our best in.”

Of course, she did tweet this last week: “I am Mrs knight the III, and most likely not the last...least, thats my saying :P hahahahaha.”
