When Chris Brown performed at the Grammys, Lambert tweeted, “I don’t get it. He beat on a girl…Not cool that we act like that didn’t happen.”

(Brown, in his infinite wisdom, tweeted back, “Hate all you want because I got a grammy now! That’s the ultimate [expletive] off!”)

Now Lambert has plunged herself into another Twitter beef, raising questions about the sincerity of Ashton Kutcher’s appearance at Sunday’s American Country Music Awards.

Dressed in a black Stetson and red western jacket, Kutcher sang a little bit of George Strait’s “I Cross My Heart” and then gave Lambert an award. You can watch the bit here.

After reflecting on the moment, Lambert wasn’t so sure how she felt about Kutcher’s behavior at the ACMs. She tweeted, “Was Ashton Kutcher making fun of country or is it just me? Watching it back now and I'm kinda wondering?”

(Country crooner Justin Moore wasn’t a fan of Kutcher’s attire at the awards show: “I don't care for people making a mockery of the way country artists dress.”)

Well Miranda, according to Ashton Kutcher, Ashton Kutcher is actually a country music fan. A huge one!

He tweeted, “I Am One Of The biggest country Music fans you've ever met. Wasn't making fun at all.” The actor added, “btw congratulations again.”

Poor, Ashton. He can’t seem to catch a break this week, what with people strongly disagreeing with his casting as Apple’s Steve Jobs in an indie film.

Maybe Kutcher will finally find the peace that alludes him here on Earth in space.
