Brad Pitt explains why he’s walking with a cane; Katy Perry thanks fans for ‘love and support’

The “Moneyball” actor told reporters at the International Palm Springs Film Festival he injured his ACL after he slipped while carrying daughter Vivienne down a hill during a recent skiing trip.

“It was either her or me,” Pitt said. (Gossip Cop)

Katy Perry has tweeted for the first time since her husband Russell Brand announced the couple was getting a divorce.

“I am so grateful for all the love and support I've had from people around the world. You guys have made my heart happy again,” the pop star tweeted Saturday. She added, “Concerning the gossip, I want to be clear that NO ONE speaks for me. Not a blog, magazine, ‘close sources’ or my family.” (@KatyPerry)
