Courtney Love may need a couch to crash on soon.

The Hole singer is facing eviction from her $27,000 a month Manhattan townhouse, the New York Post reports. Owner Donna Lyon claims Love violated the lease by changing the interior, owes $54,000 in rent and, oh yes, set the apartment on fire.

The fire department was called to the house in June after the curtains in a bedroom caught fire, most likely because of a candle the New York Times reported.

Lyon estimates the damage from the fire and Love’s changes to the decor — she painted and wallpapered without permission — could cost up to $100,000 to fix, according to the NY Post. The women head to court Dec. 21.
