14 dead in Denver after ‘Dark Knight Rises’ shooting; Fred Willard’s lawyer wants to clear actor’s name

A morning mix of entertainment news...

At least a dozen people are reportedly dead after a mass shooting occurred overnight during a suburban Denver screening of “ The Dark Knight Rises .” According to the BBC, 50 people were injured during the incident, in which a gunman wearing a gas mask went on a shooting rampage in the movie theater. Some reports indicate a smoke bomb may have gone off, and that the violence began during a shooting scene in the movie, which led some audience members to think it was part of the movie.
