Flavor Flav opens eatery called Flavor Flav's House of Flavor

The Associated Press reports that the Public Enemy member and VH1 reality star opened the fried chicken and soul food place Thursday, the eve of his 53rd birthday.

Flavor Flav previously had a fried chicken restaurant in Iowa called Flav’s Fried Chicken, which closed over disagreements between the rapper and his business partner, according to Fox5Vegas. But come on — what was with the absence of “flavor” in its name? (The place actually had great reviews on Yelp.)

Thankfully, like Mark Wahlberg and his brother Donnie’s eatery Wahlburgers, and Ludacris’ restaurant Chicken & Beer, Flavor Flav has learned with Flavor Flav's House of Flavor to harness the power of his celebrity.
