Harrison Ford is celebrating a birthday today. Han Solo has turned 70, which is apparently a reminder to many that time marches on in both a literal as well as Imperial manner.

This has become a trending topic on Twitter because we’re all shocked by this development. Harrison Ford is 70? Tom Cruise is 50? Why are all these actors aging and why weren’t we informed that this was going to happen?

Here are a few astonished Twitter reactions from everyday Ford fans, followed by a video timeline of his movie roles.

Harrison Ford is 70 today. Sean Connery was 59 when he played his father in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Wow, I feel old.
