Jenna Fischer doesn’t have to worry about hiding her real-life pregnancy on next season’s “The Office.” The actress told New York Magazine’s Vulture blog that her condition, which she announced this May, will be written into the show.

“Pam and Jim snuck away last season on Valentine’s Day, and they had sex,” she told Vulture. “The story is that they conceived this baby at that time and were keeping it a secret until we come back from the summer.” The actress said she found out that she was expecting when they shot the episode, which is pretty weird.

Will this baby save the Michael Scott-less show, in the same way that not-fictional ones are supposed to revive failing marriages? Probably not.
