Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are reportedly getting married this week in Italy. Reportedly. And — again, reportedly — the festivities have already begun. A pre-wedding beach party was held Wednesday in Puglia, Italy. According to Us Weekly, Andy Samberg was there as was, based on the photo, some woman behind him who clearly suspects that photos were being taken. More on this as important, hopefully legit details continue to leak...(Us Weekly)
Drake has finally graduated from high school. The rapper and former star of “Degrassi: The Next Generation,” who dropped out of class years ago to pursue acting and music, tweeted last night that, at 25, he has passed all of the exams needed to earn his diploma. He’s probably got enough money to celebrate by doing his own private Beach Week trip in Ocean City, right?
97% on my final exam. 88% in the course. One of the greatest feelings in my entire life. As of tonight I have graduated high school!— Drizzy (@Drake) October 18, 2012
Uma Thurman has finally revealed the name of the baby girl she gave birth to in July. And that name is (deep breath): Rosalind Arusha Arkadina Altalune Florence Thurman-Busson. But her friends and family just call her Luna, her rep tells People. (Huh. Wonder why.) The child’s father is Thurman’s boyfriend, Arpad Busson. (People)
Michael Bay is really not happy that Hugo Weaving found his experience recording the voice of Megatron for the “Transformer” movies “meaningless.” Weaving recently told Collider that he took the gig without knowing much about the projects, and that his link to Bay is “minimal.” The Hollywood Reporter’s Heat Vision blog picked up the story, in which Weaving doesn’t sound like he’s being malicious, just honest about how little he prepared for the job. Then Bay saw it and wrote a note on his personal Web site that asks, “Do you ever get sick of actors that make $15 million a picture, or even $200,000 for voiceover work that took a brisk one hour and 43 minutes to complete, and then complain about their jobs? With all the problems facing our world today, do these grumbling thespians really think people reading the news actually care about trivial complaints that their job wasn’t ‘artistic enough’ or ‘fulfilling enough’?” Yes, people probably do get sick of that, much the way they also get sick of directors who can’t just let things lie.
