The Artist ” and “ Hugo ” lead the field of just-announced Broadcast Film Critics Association nominees with 11 nods a piece. “The Help” and “Drive,” each nabbed eight nominations, including nods for Viola Davis and Ryan Gosling . The honors, known as the Critics’ Choice Awards, will be handed out at a Jan. 12 ceremony broadcast live on VH1. (Hollywood Reporter)

Tom Sizemore has signed a deal with Atria Books to write a memoir about his lengthy struggles with drug addiction. It’s due out in 2012. (Deadline)
