Keanu Reeves talks ‘Bill and Ted 3’: Do you still care?

“Bill and Ted” star Keanu Reeves confirmed to MTV that the third installment of the most righteous `movie series ever is one step closer to production.

Both Reeves and Alex Winter, a.k.a Ted, confirmed late last year that the dudes were returning for a third adventure/journey. Reeves told MTV Monday that the script, co-penned by original writers Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon, should be ready in about six weeks. (Watch him explain in the video above.) The 46-year-old actor also hinted at the film’s plot. “When we last got together ... Bill and Ted were supposed to have written the song that saved the world, and it hasn’t happened,” he said. “So they’ve now become kind of possessed by trying to do that.” “Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure” premiered in 1989, and the sequel followed two years later.

Are you still psyched for a third “Bill and Ted,” or has the statute of limitations on your excitement run out? Tell us in the comments.
