Amanda Bynes has taken another unfortunate step in her path toward becoming the next Lindsay Lohan. She has now been charged with misdemeanor hit-and-runs in two separate incidents, one in April and one last month. She will be arraigned later this month and, if convicted on both charges, could face up to a year in jail. The former Nickelodeon star, who has appeared in movies like “Hairspray” and “Easy A,” also was arrested for suspected DUI in April, a few days before the first alleged hit-and-run. She was formally charged in June in the drunken driving incident but has pleaded not guilty, both formally as well as on Twitter. (LA Times; Associated Press)

Nicole Kidman was allegedly branded a “Suppressive Person” by some Scientologists, according to details in that Vanity Fair story about the church and Tom Cruise . Based on leaked details from that article, Us Weekly reports that Connor and Isabella Cruise, the adopted children of Cruise and Kidman, were instructed to reject Kidman after her divorce from Cruise, because of her SP status. The Church has denied all of this. (Us Weekly)
