Elton John started quite a nice tiff with Madonna at the Golden Globes, where they were both nominated in the best original song category. (Madonna for “Masterpiece” from “W.E.”; John for “Hello Hello” from “Gnomeo & Juliet.”)

Sir Elton said during a red carpet interview that Madonna didn’t have “[an expletive] chance of winning,” which turned out to be wrong. Madge took home the prize, which led John’s husband and “Gnomeo” producer, David Furnish, to post an angry note to Facebook: “Madonna winning Best Original Song truly shows how these awards have nothing to do with merit. Her acceptance speech was embarrassing in its narcissism.”

For the record, Madonna does not “feel bad” about her win. (Gossip Cop; Us Weekly)

Matt LeBlanc “joked” to TMZ that he would like to do a “Friends” reunion because he “could use the money.” Natalie Morlaes did not fare so well when she asked LeBlanc, who won a Golden Globe for his work on “Episodes,” a “Friends”-related question on the red carpet Sunday. His face said it all. (TMZ; Buzzfeed)
