Michael Jackson’s children visit his childhood home

Michael Jackson’s children, Paris, Prince and Blanket, visited his childhood home in Indiana on Saturday, two days before the late pop legend would have turned 53-years-old.

Jackson’s father Joe told ABC 7 Chicago it was very important for the children to see his home. “They’re very proud of their father,” Joe said, adding that 9-year-old Blanket is just like his dad.

“I think that coming here, seeing our dad’s old house, and all the fans coming out, I think it is really sweet they did that,” 13-year-old Paris said.

Jackson died in June 2009 in what was officially ruled a homicide caused by an anesthetic and sedative. His doctor, Conrad Murray, pleaded not guilty to an involuntary manslaughter charge. Murray’s trial begins in September.
