Robert Downey Jr.: recovering after injury on set. (Matt Sayles/Invision/AP)

Robert Downey Jr. was injured Wednesday on the set of “Iron Man 3” in Wilmington, N.C. But don’t worry. The man New York Magazine dubbed the most valuable star in Hollywood is going to be fine.

As People reports, Marvel Studios released a statement today confirming that Downey is recovering from an ankle injury sustained while he was performing an unspecified stunt. (I’m assuming said stunt involved zooming into the stratosphere like a total boss, but that information has not been confirmed, as it exists solely in my imagination, and also the clip below from “Iron Man.”)

“There will be a short delay in the production schedule while he recuperates,” the Marvel statement said..

Even though Downey’s ankle may be on the mend, I’d bet good money on the following: That man can still strut. Feel better soon, Tony Stark.
