Robert Pattinson reveals willingness to dicuss underpants, love for MC Hammer cartoon

On last night’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” Pattinson talked about his love for watching the short-lived MC Hammer cartoon, “Hammerman,” as a kid. “For some reason growing up in southwest London, in a kind of completely white neighborhood, I was like, ‘Yeah! This is like speaking to me,’ ” he said. Kimmel gifted the “Water for Elephants” star a cell from the cartoon stolen from an employee. Pattinson looked touched: “That’s the best thing I’ve ever gotten.”

Meanwhile on yesterday’s “Ellen,” Pattinson discussed some issues he had with his “Ellen” brand underwear on the set of “Twilight.” “We were doing this big fight, [and] every shot has these ‘Ellen’ underpants,” he said, referring to his inability to keep his boxers in his pants. This got Pattinson in a little bit of trouble with some suspicious producers.

After watching this recent blitz of interviews, I can see why some people — some — have a crush on the actor.
