Susan Boyle performed Wednesday on “America’s Got Talent,” the U.S. version of the show that turned the underdog into a superstar.

The Scottish singer sang “You Have to be There,” the first single off her upcoming album, “Someone to Watch Over Me.” It seems like just yesterday that the then 47-year-old woman shocked the world with her powerful rendition of “I Dreamed a Dream.” Even though she lost “Britain’s Got Talent,” her first record became the fastest selling debut by a U.K. female artist ever. And she’s still going strong.
