“I just hope tonight that the lamestream media won't twist my words by repeating them verbatim,” Fey’s Palin said in a sketch mocking the recent GOP debate. She also celebrated the demise of “one of the world’s great villains”: departing CBS anchor Katie Couric.

The sketch also saw the return of Darrell Hammond’s Donald Trump, who said Fey’s Palin could be his vice president if she could “sell more chili than [“Celebrity Apprentice” contestant] Nene Leakes over the course of a hot summer day in Times Square.”
