Promoting a movie can be pretty boring for an actor who’s forced to answer the same questions over and over again. But as we’ve discussed before, an actor’s attitude can make all the difference. (Thanks, Tom Hanks)

Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone made a short appearance on Wednesday’s “Today” to promote their new film, “Crazy, Stupid, Love.,” where they mostly said nice things about Steve Carell and the rest of the cast.

But Gosling — whose character Ann Curry described as a “gorgeous hunk of man candy” — saved the day and the interview when he showed off his strength by recreating the famous lift scene from “Dirty Dancing” with Al Roker. (Stone and Gosling perform the stunt in the film.)
