Will Ferrell and Nick Offerman, in bathrobes, promote ‘Casa de mi Padre’ on ‘Today’

Will Ferrell sat down for a funny, if fairly ordinary interview with Matt Lauer Tuesday morning on the “Today” show to promote his Spanish-language comedy, “Casa de mi Padre.” Then this writer turned the TV off and started to work. ( “Hunger Games” premiere recaps don’t write themselves.)

(It may be worth noting that Offerman was without facial hair, which may shock those who only know him as the bacon loving parks director. Offerman's clean-shaven face is also currently appearing in "21 Jump Street.")

During the interview, a poker-faced Offerman joked that he initially refused to take the role of a DEA Agent. “And I was sedated by my wife and Will came over (‘Under the cover of darkness,’ Ferrell interjected) and there was a whole intervention. And at the end of it I signed a contract.”

Double date! @KathieLGifford #willferrell #nickofferman a low maintenance guy, but robes? Ha ha…
