Reviews from the weekend’s end: Stephen Brookes took in the end of the chamber music marathon at the Kennedy Center, and heard a wonderful though sparsely attended concert by the Thymos Quartet. If the event had been better publicized it might have gotten a wider audience.

Charles T. Downey was less than impressed with the “Nozze di Figaro” by Baltimore’s new Lyric Opera. (Here’s another view from The Baltimore Sun’s Tim Smith.)

Joan Reinthaler was thrilled with the pianist Steven Osborne, in recital at the Phillips Collection.

On another note entirely, my thoughts on career tips for young artists appeared on the blog Road of Creativity this weekend.
