In today’s Post: Holy Ghost!’s lifelong musical collaboration

"We grew up in this little group of kids who were always into making stuff, whether it was movies on our parents' cameras or taking pictures or playing piano," the band’s AlexFrankel says. "Whatever it was, there was some reason that in this group no one made fun of each other [for being artistic]. No one was like, 'You [expletive], playing piano!' It was, 'Ooh, I really like that Tori Amos song, too!' "

Holy Ghost! plays at the 9:30 Club on Wednesday. Read the full profile from today’s paper here, and check back next week for some interview outtakes.

Also in today’s Weekend section are reviews of new albums by: U.K. indie-pop group Los Campesinos! (at the Black Cat on Saturday); Fugazi bassist Joe Lally (at the Black Cat on Sunday); young jazz chanteuse Sophie Milman (at Blues Alley on Tuesday); reflective singer-songwriters Maria Taylor (at Rock & Roll Hotel on Sunday) and A.A. Bondy (at Rock & Roll Hotel on Saturday).
