- Even-less-surprising news out of Nashville: Taylor Swift leads this year’s CMA nominations with five, alongside Blake Shelton, Keith Urban, Jason Aldean and Brad Paisley. The Band Perry (hooray!) and Zac Brown Band (ugh) followed with four nods each. The awards will be handed out Nov. 9.

- And some still-surprising news from the campaign trail: Republican presidential hopeful Jon Huntsman really does like Captain Beefheart. Slate has the details.

- Last week, when local duo Bluebrain announced its latest site-specific sound installation, “ The Living House ,” limited RSVP spots were gobbled up on Facebook almost instantly. But Facebook agnostics aren’t completely out of luck . The group tells Click Track that hopeful attendees will be admitted to the venue site at 11:30 p.m. on Saturday night on a first come, first served basis.
