Play favorites...with Jon Meyers of The Vinyl District

Nonetheless, Meyers thinks of his music taste as “beyond the mainstream; new wave/post-punk way back when, “college rock” when I was in college, and now indie, the niche name du jour.” But sometimes, Meyers says, you just need to listen to what makes you most comfortable “Lately I’ve run for cover and wrapped myself in the warm, familiar blanket that is — classic rock.”

His playlist follows:

T-Rex, “Buick Mackane

Queen, “Stone Cold Crazy

Thin Lizzy, “It’s Only Money

Sweet, “Set Me Free

Black Sabbath, “Heaven and Hell

Kiss, “Love Her All I Can

Led Zeppelin, “Achilles Last Stand

AC/DC, “If You Want Blood (You’ve Got It)

Alice Cooper, “No More Mr. Nice Guy

Rainbow, “Since You Been Gone
