And the twilight’s last screaming...
As both sides vocally played the partisan blame game Monday over the stalemate that has shut the federal government.
As hundreds of thousands of federal workers are furloughed — and as many national sites and services are shuttered and ceased — the nation’s political cartoonists continue to work on, reporting to their boards to take up the task of skewering Washington. And with so many people to paint as villains, such an inky line of work is no quick task.
